Every walker on the Tuckered Out team completes a 24-hour training program before their first solo shift, covering pet CPR and First Aid certification, body language education, and supervised field training with an experienced team lead. We hold active membership with Pet Sitters International (PSI), which means weekly continuing education for the entire team. Austin Tuck, founder and owner, holds a renewed Fear Free certification and built our training manual around the same methodology. Our shelter partnership with Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) has produced 275+ outings and a 95% adoption rate for participating dogs. We are not a gig app. We are a professional team with systems, standards, and a genuine stake in your pet’s wellbeing.

Before your first walk, we schedule a Meet & Greet to learn about your dog: their routine, their personality, what they love, and what they need. A deposit is required to hold your spot (applied as a credit toward your first walk).
